Digable Planets Omaha reviews
Mellencamp did not R.O.C.K. in the USA
Unless someone gives me the tickets, I'm done seeing Digable Planets live unless he comes out with an album parallel to M.J.'s Thriller. The last time I saw Digable Planets was in 1987 and I came away with the same disappointment. Hurt so Good, Ain't Even done with the Night, Hand to Hold onto, and R.O.C.K in the USA were not played by John. These four songs could easily have replaced some of the other obscure titles he played. Carter, the opening act, was not enjoyable, so when he brought her back on stage to join him, it was an excellent time to grab a beer. The 1st half of the concert was not loud enough. My favorite song, Check it Out, was played early on. He played no encore.
